WOW! This CD rules....the band consists of Dimebag Darrell (R.I.P.), Vinnie Paul, Rex Brown (Pantera bassist) and country legend David Allan Coe. Together they fuse elements of David's country roots, plus the Southern Rock/Metal elements that Pantera was known for, and they produce a sound unlike any other that I've ever heard. It is a true pleasure to hear the legend Dimebag Darrell's last bits of new work before he was wrongfully taken from us so early.
And I know I said that it would be between Tool's "10,000 Days" and Godsmack's "IV" for best album of the year, but I am retracting that statement and adding this CD to that list. It is really good.
