MNM (C) Vs. LOD 2005--ECW Tag Team Title Match
This match went back and forth for quite a bit. Then Heidenreich got a tag in from Animal and lit MNM up. Then we began to see some teamwork issues between the 4-time Tag Team Champions. Nitro tagged himself in blindly, and pushed Mercury out of the ring, saying that he could take care of LOD himself. He then turned right into the Heid-walk Slam from Heidenreich, and then was given the Road Warrior Slam from Animal and he was pinned for the 1-2-3.

After the match, MNM imploded when Melina began slapping Mercury for not helping Nitro in the title match. Mercury then grabbed Melina by the arm, and pushed her down, and Nitro saw this and snapped. However, Mercury got the better of the situation, and nailed Nitro with the Planet 2. He then knocked Melina out with a swift right hand.
"The Beast" Bobby Lashley (C) Vs. Edge--United States Title Match
This match started off really one sided when Bobby Lashley started right from the gates and began nailing Edge with some hard clubs to the neck and shoulder area. He worked over those areas, and then went for The Spear, but Edge moved, and Lashley nailed the ring post. Edge worked over his shoulder for the next bit of the match, but then on the outside, Lashley came out of nowhere with a Spear. He then tossed Edge in the ring, and nailed The Dominator, and covered Edge, however, the referee didn't count the 3. He stopped at 2, and then revived Edge, pushed Lashley away, handed Edge a chair, and Edge was free to nail Bobby Lashley with it. Edge the hit his version of The Spear, and covered Lashley for the 1-2-3.

After the match, however, Lashley cashed in on his Immediate Rematch. But before the match started, Lashley made sure to nail the referee with The Dominator, and a new referee came down for the match. Edge was speechless as this happened, and he turned right into a Spear from "The Beast" who then hit Edge with The Dominator, and pinned him for the 1-2-3.

Muhammed Hassan (C) Vs. Kurt Angle--WWF World Heavyweight Title Match
This match was one sided from the beginning, as Hassan never made it out of the starting gate. I guess his comments about America and its sporting teams, especially the Olympic teams, really just motivated Kurt instead of making him upset. Kurt Angle bursted right out of the gates, nailing 7 German Suplexes in a row, flying off the top with a Moonsault, and nailing 4 Angle Slams back to back to back to back. He then locked in the Angle Lock, and grapevined the leg, and the former champion Hassan had no choice but to tap out, giving Angle the victory in a record time of just 3:26.

Rob Van Dam (C) Vs. John Cena--WWF Title Match
This match was really even through the whole thing. Much offense by both competitors, with us seeing 2 Rolling Thunders from RVD, and a Van Daminator. Mid-way into the match, we saw Edge come down, fresh off of a 3 minute US Title reign, and interfere, attacking both superstars. In the end of that exchange, we saw Edge get nailed with an F-U, and a Van Terminator. Cena then nailed RVD in the throat with a chair, and hit him in the knee with the same chair. He then set-up and delivered an F-U onto RVD, and locked in the STFU, and like everyone else, Rob Van Dam tapped out!

After the match, HBK came down to the ring with Triple H, and they attacked RVD, for what reason we can only speculate. This encounter saw a Pedigree to RVD, and HBK then stood him up and tuned up the band and nailed some Sweet Chin Music on RVD, sending him in a flip over the top rope, crashing hard to the floor below, landing awkwardly on his head and neck. At this time, we are awaiting the results of a CAT Scan and X-Rays to make sure RVD doesn't have any brain or neck/back problems.
